Time Capsule is a bespoke video memoir service that helps individuals document their life stories, capturing personal memories, thoughts, and legacy for future generations.

Filming usually takes around 3 to 4 hours. We’ll capture your memories in the morning, with an additional session in the afternoon for photographing or filming your memorabilia.

You’ll need to gather any photos or memorabilia you’d like to include, and have them ready for the filming day. We’ll guide you through the process during calls with your Story Coach.

We recommend selecting around 10-15 stories per life stage, but the number is flexible. The key is to capture meaningful memories that are important to you.

All photos and items will be scanned or photographed during the filming day. They never leave your home, and we ensure they are safely handled.

Yes, you can include any stories of memories of your loved ones, friends – but it will be just you filmed on the day.

Your video will be delivered online for streaming and as a physical DVD or USB, depending on your preferences.

Each Time Capsule film is around 180 minutes long and is divided into sections, or ‘chapters’ covering different life stages or themes, making it easy to navigate and relive key moments.

The process from ordering a Time Capsule to having your finished film delivered to you is around 6 to 8 weeks. This includes the calls with your Story Coach, which help keep everything on track. See the “How It Works” page for more information on this.

You’ll have at least 5 scheduled calls with your Story Coach: an initial check-in, a guided conversation about your memories, and a pre-filming day call.

If you feel you need more time or have additional questions, your Story Coach is available for extra calls. These can be arranged based on your needs.

Feeling nervous is completely normal (and probably to be expected!). But you’ll get used to the process surprisingly quickly. Your Story Coach will create a relaxed environment to make you feel comfortable, guiding you through the filming with care and professionalism.
