What is a Story Coach?
A Story Coach is at the heart of what we do at Time Capsule. You’ll work closely with customers to help them feel comfortable, guide them through our proven process, and help them organise and share their memories in a way that is meaningful and impactful.
Your role will include:
- Building a warm and friendly rapport with customers.
- Walking them through our Memories Grids and Welcome Pack to help them organise their stories and mementos.
- Supporting them through a structured process during 3–4 calls (phone or video).
- Liaising with our team to prepare for the filming day.
- Attending the filming day (if needed) to help customers feel relaxed and ensure everything runs smoothly.
This isn’t about writing their story for them – it’s about facilitating and guiding their storytelling journey.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people who are:
- Great listeners: Someone who loves hearing people’s stories and connecting with them on a personal level.
- People-focused: You’re approachable, patient, and great at putting others at ease.
- Organised: Able to follow a set process and use our systems to keep everything running smoothly.
- Flexible: Comfortable working remotely and occasionally traveling to a customer’s location for filming.
- Tech-savvy: Confident using basic tools like email, video calls, and our customer systems.
- Passionate about history and storytelling: You love the idea of helping others preserve their legacies.
We think this role would suit someone with experience in caring, admin, coaching, or other people-focused roles. However, if you love people and stories, we’d love to hear from you, regardless of your background.
